Danny Williams Honored by Broken Arrow
Union Public Schools Student Assistance Program Coordinator Danny Williams was honored by the city of Broken Arrow with a Proclamation in his honor for his “philanthropy and acts of kindness” to help make Broken Arrow a greater city and “improving the lives of countless others.”
Williams spearheads an annual drive to raise funds for holiday gifts and food for lower income families within the Union district, which includes both Tulsa and the city of Broken Arrow. He also works closely with students involved in drug-free activities and is a heavy promoter of Union’s Character Counts! program, often bringing older and younger children together in positive settings. In addition, Williams works closely with law enforcement officers from the area, including Broken Arrow, to help instill a positive image of law enforcement in the eyes of children.
