Tulsa – A Most Livable City

Tulsa has been chosen as one of the most livable cities in the United States!!!

Is that really a surprise? How many cities can there be where the drive from one end of the metro area to the other end is about 45 minutes?

That drive would include any one of the fantastic communities in the Metropolitan Tulsa area: Bixby, Jenks, Glenpool, Broken Arrow, Sand Springs, Owasso, Claremore, Collinsville.

Here are some of the facts.

      1. A comfortable population of 910,000.
      2. A most worthy statistic is that the unemployment rate is just 5.6%
      3. The cost of Living Index is at 90.6
      4. The income growth is 4.9%

And, of course, we need to mention Tulsa’s phenomenal housing affordability. Tulsa’s metro area ranks as the eighth most affordable city to buy a home in this country. This is based on the average price of a 2200-square-foot, single-family home with four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a two-car garage. The average price for that house in the Tulsa area is $153,750.

With a combination of short drive times, low unemployment rate and extremely attractive home prices, is it time for you to move to Tulsa?
